Did you know that waterproof drones already exists?

When drones with camera first hit the market, they were extremely expensive but had a whole heap of useful features that mostly did well for compensating for their price tags. Despite that, none of them were waterproof which annihilated a lot of “wet” scenarios. People buy drones for all sorts of reasons and extreme water sports are certainly some of them. Don’t get me wrong, you could go ahead and use those drones above water surfaces but you had to be extremely careful not to get them wet otherwise they’re toast. This was a big issue that was, quite surprisingly, not being dealt with when it first emerged. A lot of time has passed from drones splashing on the big screens to them being real waterproof drones. But luckily, that trend is way behind us as more and more waterproof drones are coming up in the market with every passing day. With this being said, let’s take a closer look at 2 best waterproof drones that are currently available on the market. Without further adue, here they are:

GPTOYS Waterproof Remote Control Quadcopter with 2.0MP HD Camera

This little guy is a rather beautiful looking drone that is bound to do a great job when it comes to getting wet. It is completely waterproof which means it is suitable for those rainy days when there’s nothing more fun to do than drive your drone around the backyard. When it comes to additional features this guy is not shy to impress: it is equipped with headless mode, 360 degree flips and rolls accompanied by the ever so popular one key return system that makes sure your flying experience is nothing short of spectacular… and safe. There’s also a 2MP camera that is not able to provide you with the fanciest image quality, but it will do its job fairly well. All in all, GPTOYS’ did a good job with their first waterproof drone and there is no doubt that for just $50 you won’t be able to find a better one.

JJRC H31 Waterproof Drone

If you are not interested in a drone that comes with a camera and you don’t want to spend an extra couple of bucks on the above listed model, then JJRC’s H31 could be the drone you are looking for. It sports a sleek looking appearance (my personal favorite color is green) that doesn’t tell its rather cheap price just by looking at it. The frame is sturdy, and of course, completely waterproof. This means that you can fly it over beaches and/or during rainy days (and nights since it comes with very bright LED lights) without having to worry about it dying due to water damage. With a bit lower price ($40) than the GPTOYS’ waterproof drone, the H31 is undoubtedly a great choice for people who want a solid (but still rather cheap) waterproof drone that is not sporting a 2MP camera. All in all, there is no doubt that H31 is a great budget model.
